December 2010
The new Meditations CD is here - just in time for Christmas! Take a look at the Catalogue page for more information and to order your copy. As I mentioned below, it's a slightly different direction recording-wise for me - do let me know what you think!

On a different note, I'm delighted that three of my songs - May the Glory of the Lord Fill His Temple, Unless the Lord Builds the House and Up to Your Table - have been selected for inclusion in the new Methodist music collection, Singing the Faith. The new book will be available in 2011, and is a broad and thoughtful collection spanning Methodism's earliest roots right through to the best hymn- and song-writers of the present day; I feel as though I'm among very exalted company!

Thank you all for your support and encouragement through 2010; every blessing to you and yours as we wait through Advent, share the joy of Christmas, and look forward to another year in His service.

Autumn 2010
It's been a busy few months, with lots of composing - not all worship songs! The summer started with the Lincoln premier of my Nunc Dimmittus for children's voices as part of St. Mary's Preparatory School's 60th anniversary celebrations. The Nunc was performed alongside its companion Magnificat (which was composed for St. Mary's 50th anniversary), and it was incredibly moving to be in Lincoln Cathedral and see children and staff standing side by side and performing with such commitment. Over the last few weeks I've had fun with, amongst others, the folks at St George's Swallowbeck in Lincoln, doing training with their worship band, and over in Hucknall in Nottingham for a solo concert.

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the Worship Songs book - if you haven't got your copy yet, take a look at the Catalogue page!

Last but by no means least, I'm delighted to announce that a new CD is on the way! Over the last couple of years a number of you have asked if I have ever recorded any of the kind of prayerful piano improvisations I sometimes use in worship times - well, I have now! The new disc is called Meditations, and contains ten solo piano explorations of well known hymns, inspired by the words and the tunes themselves. I hope you will find it useful for reflective times in services or prayer groups, or in your private devotions. A release date is imminent, more details here soon. If you would like notification of new releases, concerts etc, please join my mailing list - just send me a message from the Contact page with Mailing List in the enquiry box.

Spring 2010
Thanks to all of you who have been asking about the forthcoming music book. The piano arrangements are all complete now, and at the proofing stage, and the artwork is in preparation. It includes many of the songs you've asked for in the past, as well as some that haven't made it into print yet, and my new(ish) tune for "How Shall I Sing that Majesty". It's called, imaginitively enough, "Worship Songs"! Hopefully it should be ready for Spring concerts and workshops.

Speaking of Spring concerts, I'm playing a solo gig at Lincoln Drill Hall on Thursday 22 April. To book tickets, follow this link to the Drill Hall box office. See you there!

Autumn 2009
The Website is live at last! Thanks for your patience over the last few weeks while the new design was pending . . .

The new album The Road Home is now available, priced £9 - contact me to order your copy. Thanks for all the positive feedback so far from those who have already heard it, it's been a blessing and an encouragement. We hope to stage an 'official' launch gig in Lincoln in the autumn - watch this space!
